Las Cataratas y Los Niños

Volunteering is still going great and this weekend I took a trip to Iguazu Falls, which are beautiful water falls in the jungle that split Argentina and Brasil. So here are some pictures of the kids I work with and the falls...enjoy

This is one set of the falls...

So you know how they always say that a picture is worth a thousand words?

Well.

I don't have a thousand words to say about those pictures. Because I'm completely speechless. I'm so awestruck that I might have to go write a poem.

I think it's incredible, though, that the pictures of the water fall are no more or less beautiful than the ones of those sad children with joy in their eyes and peace in their hearts--because you guys have come to share your love especially with them.

On my birthday yesterday I was thinking about how you guys give these kids a birthday party. One birthday party for however many kids. And I had "such a good birthday" because my friends singled me out and made me feel important. But these kids...they don't even care about that. They share their birthday party with tons of others, but what matters is the love that they are getting. From you. The love that you give them that they can then give to one another. I can't even imagine being part of something like that.

Thanks for the pictures. I am amazed at God's beauty...in all things. I am praying like crazy for you!!

Don't forget to get the name of that restaurant. :)
